Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Scholarships

Students with outstanding academic performance may apply for scholarships, and eligible international students may apply for tuition grants (TGDs) provided by the Singapore Ministry of Education.

Advantages of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore

1. Recognized International Baccalaureate

This institution is recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education as equivalent to Singapore's five polytechnics. Its diplomas are also widely recognized internationally.

2. 60% Tuition Subsidy

Annual tuition at NAFA is SGD 14,500. For international students who meet the required exam requirements, the government provides approximately 60% of the tuition, reducing the annual tuition to SGD 6,500 (RMB 32,500).

3. Reasonable Part-time Work Helps with Expenses

Students in private schools in Singapore are not allowed to work, while students in public schools are allowed to work up to 16 hours per week. To ensure academic performance, NAFA students are generally not required to work in their first year. However, they are allowed in their second and third years. Students who manage their work schedule wisely can supplement their tuition and living expenses with their income.

4. Required to Work in Singapore for Three Years After Graduation

Graduating students are required to work in Singapore for three years (this alleviates students' concerns about finding a job after graduation).

5. Permanent Resident - Green Card in Hand

Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts graduates who find full-time employment (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) can apply for a Green Card, becoming a permanent resident and enjoying the same benefits as Singapore citizens. Qualified individuals may immigrate to Commonwealth countries, and their parents may also receive a five-year long-term residence permit (renewable).
