Taylor's University Scholarship Application Requirements

1. Taylor's University High Achievers Scholarship (TUHAS)

Master's programs offer a 50% tuition waiver. Applications require an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or higher, along with a written evaluation and interview.

Doctoral programs offer a full tuition waiver, a monthly stipend, and a conference allowance. Application requirements are an undergraduate GPA of 3.33 and a Master's GPA of 3.5, with a publication bonus.

2. Taylor's Research Excellence Scholarship (Scheme A+)

Primarily for PhDs, this program requires an undergraduate GPA of 3.33 and a Master's GPA of 3.5. An interview is required. Scholarship recipients receive a full tuition waiver, a monthly stipend of RM2,300 for 36 months, and a conference allowance of RM3,000.

3. Most importantly, apply to a senior student who can help you with the scholarship! If your first-semester GPA is above 3.3, you'll receive US$800. If your GPA is above 3.6, you'll receive US$1,000.

There are also scholarships such as the Taylor's Industrial Partner Scholarship and the ASEAN Tourism Scholarship. These scholarships all require specific majors and research areas, and are generally offered as full or partial scholarships.

Undergraduate Application Requirements

1. Completed 12 years of education or equivalent; Depending on the major: An average score of at least 65%-75% in five liberal arts subjects (Physical Education, Moral Education, Music, etc. are not counted).

2. Language Requirements: IELTS 5.0-6.0 or equivalent English proficiency.

Master's Application Requirements

Coursework

1. Bachelor's degree; GPA requirement 2.5-2.75 (70%-76% and above), with a GPA of 4 out of 5.

2. Language Requirements: No language test required; the university will conduct a language test, and the duration of language courses will be determined based on the test score. Students with an IELTS 5.0-6.5 or equivalent English proficiency can enter the professional program directly.

Research-Based

1. Bachelor's degree (with relevant academic background); Proposal & Interview; GPA requirement: 2.75/4 or above.

2. Language Requirements: No language test required. The school will conduct a language test, and the language course duration will be determined based on the test level. An IELTS score of 5.0-6.5 or equivalent English proficiency allows direct entry into the professional program.

Doctoral Application Requirements

1. Bachelor's & Master's degree required. A Master's degree requires relevant academic background. Proposal & Interview (For undergraduates applying directly to the doctoral program, a GPA of 3.67/4 or above and relevant academic background are required, and these will be submitted separately for review.

2. Language Requirements: No language test required. The school will conduct a language test, and the language course duration will be determined based on the test level. An IELTS score of 5.0-6.5 or equivalent English proficiency allows direct entry into the professional program.
